To start things off, for the benefit of those who don't already know who you are, tell us a bit about yourself.
So I’m the host of The Front 3 podcast (available on iTunes, hint hint) and have been producing online football content for around 7 years now - I started Football Daily so you may have seen me there in the past, or more recently on The Football Republic, a channel I ran until the end of last year. I’m now working with Spencer Owen aka Spencer FC on some new projects, which is very exciting.
When, why and how did your obsession with Tottenham Hotspur begin?
Well, my Dad supports Tottenham so I didn’t really have a choice! But I fell in love with the club pretty quickly - players like Jurgen Klinsmann, Teddy Sheringham and David Ginola made it hard not to. Unfortunately Spurs were a pretty mediocre mid-table team in the late 90s and early 2000s when I was growing up - but those struggles just make the fact the club is now being talked of as a title challengers all the more rewarding.
What's the best bit about being on The Front 3?
Getting to talk about football with your mates every week. Laurence, Dave and Kris are three of the smartest and most interesting people to talk the beautiful game with, so it’s a pleasure making the podcast with them. And we’re very lucky and humbled that people enjoy listening as well. I like to think we’re trying to do something a little bit different - insightful yet entertaining analysis.
We've had the pleasure of watching you in the football YouTube scene for quite a while now. What are your plans for the future?
I’m working on some great stuff with Spencer right now, including the Hashtag Academy, which is really exciting. As for The Front 3, we’ve got some big plans to really kick-off our own YouTube channel this year. I’m also hoping to launch my own channel sooner rather than later, so watch this space. As for what will be actually be on it…well I haven’t thought that far yet!
Lastly, what are your hopes for Tottenham this season?
The top 6 is very tight at the moment, so right now I’d say a top 4 finish - above Arsenal! To finish above them for the first time since I was 6 - let’s just say I’ll be having a few drinks if that happens. I’m hopeful more than expectant. To win the FA Cup would also be fantastic - it would be our first silverware since 2008 and a sign of our progress under Pochettino.
We want to give Adam a huge thank you for answering some of our questions, hopefully we can have you on the site again in the future!
